If you work in childcare, schools, daycares, youth sports, or simply want to be prepared for medical emergencies involving children, this CPR, AED, and First Aid certification class is designed for you. This class is MEDIC First Aid® PediatricPlus certified, offering a 2-year CPR and AED certification card, valid and accepted in the state of California. This training can be performed on-location at our facility in Folsom, or at your workplace in the Sacramento or Roseville area. Updated to reflect the newest guidelines for Children CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and pediatric first aid, this course offers treatment guidelines for all ages.
Yes. California requires licensed childcare providers and family daycare operators to maintain current CPR and first aid certification. Rescue Training Institute is an EMSA-certified agency authorized to provide this training.
EMSA stands for the California Emergency Medical Services Authority. EMSA certification means Rescue Training Institute is authorized by the state to provide training that meets California’s childcare licensing requirements.
Yes. Students who complete Rescue Training Institute’s EMSA-approved childcare course receive the required California state sticker on their certification card.
Yes. Rescue Training Institute is authorized to train both childcare providers and bus drivers under the EMSA program.
At Rescue Training Institute’s Folsom classroom. On-site training is also available for childcare facilities in the Sacramento area.
