Rescue Training Institute was founded in 1990 by Greg and Cynthia Landin to meet the growing need for on-site professional safety training. Their vision was to bring experienced and professional EMT’s and Paramedics into the classroom to share skills on how to save lives. To date, RTI has trained in excess of 140,000 students in over 11,000 classes.
Meet our incredible team!
Greg served 30 years in the greater Sacramento Area and retired as a Captain/Paramedic. His experience in saving lives and property, as well as his decades of teaching have blended together to provide consistent, relevant, professional, dependable and enjoyable safety instruction. These qualities are embodied by each and every instructor that RTI employs.
Kelly Lundbeck is your first contact here at RTI. Through one call to her, you get all of your questions answered, can schedule one or a year’s worth of training dates, and retrieve any records that you may need regarding courses previously taught. She is available here in our office weekdays from 9am to 1pm.
Abby Wik is our Programs Director here at RTI. Abby is a Paramedic, and an instructor trainer for the American Heart Association, Medic First Aid, and American Safety & Health Institute instructors. She is responsible for all of our field operations and she continues to conduct much of our weekly training.
Pedro is RTI’s Operations Director. In addition to his administrative duties, Pedro is responsible for managing AED programs, services and supplies. With his extra time he can be found teaching one of our classes.
