Heartsaver CPR & AED for Adults & Children
In these American Heart Association classes, you will learn one-person technique for adult, child (infant optional) CPR, AED use in rescue situations, use of a mouth-to-mask barrier, foreign airway obstruction techniques, and how to recognize signs of the four major emergencies. This course is designed for lay-persons and workplace requirements. Textbooks are $20 and available in class. A two-year certification card is issued from the American Heart Association upon successful completion. Ages 12+.

Completion of the American Heart Associations BLS for Healthcare Providers Online (Part 1) course found at www.onlineaha.org. is your first step. This part can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours.
In the Healthcare Provider CPR Skills Session, students will receive hands-on CPR skills practice (Part 2) and demonstrate these skills to an instructor (Part 3) after completing Part 1. Parts 2 & 3 are completed in one hour. A two-year certification card is issued from the AHA upon course completion.
The AHA strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA.
