Blended Training Skills Sessions
CPR & AED 
The American Heart Association blended training programs provide for on-line education blended with in-class hands-on practice and testing.

Prerequisite: Completion of the American Heart Association Heartsaver Online (Part 1) course found at www.onlineaha.org. The online, self-paced, cognitive modules of the Heartsaver CPR training can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours. The fee paid to the American Heart Association for their on-line training (Part 1) is separate from our fee for the skills session. Please bring a printed Part 1 Certificate of Completion to the skills session. 

Once Part 1 is completed, students in the Heartsaver CPR Skills Session will receive hands-on CPR skills practice (part 2) and demonstrate these skills to an instructor (part 3). Parts 2 and 3 are completed in one hour. A two-year AHA certification card is issued by mail upon course completion.
First Aid, 
Adult CPR & AED 
Part 1
You perform this at the convenience of your own computer. Once registered, you will receive the link and password for your training session. Start it anytime, save it and complete it anytime prior to your classroom date. Simply print out the Part One successful completion certificate and bring it to your classroom practice & testing session. Time: 1-2 hours.

Part 2 & 3
Show up at our classroom and practice the skills you learned on-line, then complete the testing segments. Upon successful completion, you will leave with your certification in hand. Time: 1 hour.


Medic First Aid courses
The AHA strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, don’t represent income to the AHA. Our local AHA office can be contacted at 916/446-6505.

These American Heart Association courses are designed specifically for the occupational setting. This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.  Ages: 12+.  Certification card: Valid for 2 years issued by mail.  This 1 hour course covers adult, child and infant skills.
First Aid, CPR, AED  
Basic Life Support CPR
(formerly Healthcare Provider CPR)
In this American Heart Association course, you will learn one and two-person technique for adult, child, infant CPR, AED, oxygen and barrier use. It is intended for present and future EMT's, paramedics, nurses, occupational therapists. It is valid for college entrance prerequisites and accepted by all CA State Boards. A two-year certification card is issued from the American Heart Association upon successful completion.  
Ages: 16+. Certification card: Valid for 2 years issued by mail. 1 hour course.
