The American Heart Association blended training programs provide for on-line education blended with in-class hands-on practice and testing.
Prerequisite: Completion of the American Heart Association Heartsaver Online (Part 1) course found at www.onlineaha.org. The online, self-paced, cognitive modules of the Heartsaver CPR training can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours. The fee paid to the American Heart Association for their on-line training (Part 1) is separate from our fee for the skills session. Please bring a printed Part 1 Certificate of Completion to the skills session.
Once Part 1 is completed, students in the Heartsaver CPR Skills Session will receive hands-on CPR skills practice (part 2) and demonstrate these skills to an instructor (part 3). Parts 2 and 3 are completed in one hour. A two-year AHA certification card is issued by mail upon course completion.
Certification: 2 year card sent via email
Time: 1 hour
